Tyson Gregory
Program Director
Tyson brings over a decade of experience in the green industry and an extensive knowledge of urban forestry to his role as Program Director with Trees Lexington. His passion for cultivating greener communities is evident in his enthusiastic sharing of horticulture expertise. With a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture Sciences from the University of Kentucky, Tyson most recently worked as Horticulture Agent at the Woodford County Cooperative Extension Service after serving as the Horticulture Program Assistant at the Fayette County Cooperative Extension Service. Tyson's deep commitment to environmental stewardship and nurturing a love for nature within the community make him essential to Trees Lexington's outreach and growth. In his free time, you can find Tyson hiking Kentucky’s natural areas, planting trees, or collecting seeds for propagation. Tyson's love for plants and joyful approach to educating others is infectious, and we're delighted to have him heading up our programs.
