
Greg Doyle
Board Vice President
Greg Doyle is originally from Louisville, Kentucky, but has lived in the central Kentucky area since 1975. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from Arizona State University in 1974, and was the owner of Doyle Water Distributors from 1986 until his retirement in 2016. In his retirement, Greg has become very involved with many nature-centric activities. He has been a volunteer at Floracliff Nature Sanctuary since 2016, at The Arboretum State Botanical Garden of Kentucky since 2018, and Lower Howard’s Creek Nature Preserve since 2021. He worked closely with Jake Gibbs on the Tree Canopy Committee in 2017, which later turned into Trees Lexington. He has been on the Trees Lexington Board since 2019. He served as a Board member of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government's Tree Board from 2018-2023. For was also involved with and participated in Tree Week, an annual Lexington event presented by the Urban Forest Initiative, in its early years. His hobbies include hiking, wildlife photography, flower and native plant gardening, and identifying plants.Â
