THE POCKET

HUB

for all of your baby tree needs

SUNLIGHT

Place your trees in a space that gets about 4-6 hours of sun each day.  The tree species in your Pocket Nursery like a lot of sun – so putting your pocket in a shady area may result in unhappy trees.

WATER

Water them weekly (& sometimes more)!  Newly heeled in trees are working to establish their roots & need ample water to do so.  We recommend about 5 gallons per week for the Pocket Nursery, or about 1 inch of rain. Consider designating a specific day or days of the week to water your trees so it's not overlooked in times of low or no precipitation.

LOVE

Love your tree babies & share in the joy of the growing process!  Being a tree parent provides great returns. Not only are you providing an environmental service to the community, but you are getting to watch the beginning of the magical, transformative process that a tree undergoes during its growth & establishment.
