About the event
Our spectacular Fall Tree Giveaway is back on Saturday, October 5th! Choose the perfect tree for your space from up to 30 species of high quality 3-gallon trees from local and regional nurseries. Trees are for Lexington residents and planting, and are available at no cost, thanks to our generous sponsors Burl Investment Management, LLC, and Warfield Technology Group! In addition to adopting a tree, attendees may also take home arborist wood chips - the arborist recommended mulch for trees - compliments of Dave Leonard Tree Specialists and hauled on site by no other than Dave Leonard himself. Bring a yard waste bag or 5-gallon buckets to transport mulch home.
We have just a few guidelines for this event:
Trees must be planted on private property in Lexington.
1 tree per address, and per person.
Species approved for planting as a street tree in Lexington will be available. Permits are…
